Marfan Trust Update

During this unsettled time, we wanted to reassure you that the Marfan Trust is working hard to operate the organisation as normal to continue to provide support and advice. Our vital research work will also continue. In line with Government guidelines, our office team is now working remotely. However, our main phone lines remain open with our [email protected] email manned during business hours.

Unsurprisingly, we are experiencing a higher than normal level of medical enquiries, so response times may be slower than we would like. Please do bear with us and we will respond to you as quickly as possible. In the mean time, please do check out the Marfan specific Covid-19 advice that we posted on our website yesterday and also follow more general Government guidelines. We will post more advice as and when we have further info to share.

Unfortunately, we are currently experiencing problems with our social media pages so are not able to access or respond to queries posted here. We are hugely sorry about this and will let you know when this has been resolved. Please resend queries to us by email for now.

FUNDRAISING GOING FORWARD

We remain so grateful for all the fundraising that you do on our behalf. While we rely on these funds to continue our research and support, we do very much want you to prioritise taking very good care of yourselves and to postpone fundraising events in large groups for the foreseeable future. Instead, perhaps you could think about virtual fundraising events and initiatives. We would certainly be excited to support you in these as best we can. Just let us know how.

DONATIONS

Clearly we are still very keen to receive all donations and will put them to good use. As we are unlikely to be working from the office for the foreseeable future, processing cheques is likely to be more problematic and will take longer, so if you are able to send your donations electronically by BACs, Just Giving, Virgin Money etc. rather than via cheque, that would be hugely appreciated.
