Marfan syndrome blighted and shortened the lives of Julie's brother and father. Julie and her son are zipping across the River Clyde to raise funds and secure a better future for other Marfan patients.

by Julie

My Dad, Malky and brother Stuart were affected by Marfan Syndrome. We sadly lost Stuart to Marfan Syndrome back in 2000, at the age of just 20.

My Dad was confined to a wheelchair at the age of 37 due to complications relating to his diagnosis, sadly passing away 2021.

On Friday 6th September 2024 myself and son Andy will be zip lining across the River Clyde. We are raising money for the Marfan Trust in memory of both Malky & Stuart Caithness any donations would be appreciated.
