Our cover star, Dr Nitha Naqvi, dispensed some helpful vaccine advice during our Information Day in October 2021, and this filled our front page. While it was valid at the time of going to press, it has since been superseded in the fluid, fast-moving world of this pandemic and the new variant omicron. We have revised our digital newsletter accordingly to reflect Dr Naqvi's new recommendation which is to follow the latest government advice. Dr Naqvi advises her Marfan patients that they should receive the same number of vaccinations given to the vast majority of children their age ie whatever is standard for most of the children in their school class.
