Life’s twists and turns can send you skittering into different places, some light, others dark. While we cannot always offer a panacea for the darkness that sometimes engulfs us, we can provide support, medical & emotional. Today marks World Mental Health Day and we are emphasising and drawing your attention to our resources  here at the Trust.

Last summer, medical student Laxmi Thileepan embarked on a research project focusing on the psychological impact of Marfan syndrome on families. This endeavour led to the creation of a structured questionnaire, which was subsequently distributed internally to families registered with the Marfan Trust. We received a notable and substantial response, totalling 108 completed surveys. Below is the resulting article and psychosocial support pamphlet.
